iPhone & Android Video Response
This is a video response to the amazing Dave aka Lack78 if you are not aware of his videos it is a must. Anything you need to know about the world of tech, he is your man www.youtube.com Before you watch this video, it is probably a good idea to watch Dave’s video Mac / PC Rants & Raves May 2010.
@iharrison30 I think it is because your in a partnership with youtube.
lol i originally thought you were responding to my iphoneOS & Android vid. That aside, i do not use the cloud to compute, but i do use backup services but that is exactly that, a backup.
The problem i am having with the apple app store is based on usefulness of consumers. I run into countless people that say too many apps are repeated features and that too many apps are worthless to them. Apps are essential but if they are repeated in different names or simply to pet a virtual rock, how powerful is the app store at that point? Keep in mind i am from a business mind, where pet virtual rocks are indeed worthless.
I just watched your vid on my iPad, you’ve pretty much summed it up for me, Can’t wait for your review on the iPad, I am overwhelmed with mine, I’m going to watch your miff vid again now , for the iPad. But yeah sound responce vid
@TalesOfWar On Android Market place, you simply buy the app with your phone and that is it. The app automatically download and installs on your phone.
It seems to me Apple is making the same mistake as before.
I love how your videos are from the heart, it always shows your true feelings. Love it!
@GlockNinja On the iPhone App Store it’s a case of hitting “buy/get” then “install” and entering your iTunes password. That’s it, the iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad/iTunes (on desktop) does the rest. It self installs and then it’s ready to go, or syncs to your device next time you plug it into your computer if you get it from iTunes on the desktop. It’s a very nice seamless experience. I haven’t used the Android Marketplace, so I can’t speak for that. Most iPhone Apps are very cheap or free too btw.
@iharrison30 The do this for all partner channels.
@iharrison30 I think it’s a part of the partnership program on YouTube.
@iharrison30 Ciiine Dion concert was one ad I’ve seen come on.
Thanks Harrision.
@iharrison30 its random. sometimes their at the start, sometimes their in the video. once its enabled for revenue sharing you don’t have control over whether the ad comes in at the start or not.
I can’t say much about the iPhone App store, but the Android Market is very nice. Apps download very fast and all in all, most of the apps are very inexpensive. I’m sure the iPhone is good.
Does anyone know why the adverts have started to come on at the beginning of my videos. I don’t remember setting this feature up.
@LACK78 You know Dave mate I thought I had picked you up wrong, I am an idiot lol.
Thanks for the shout out Harrison!
Great video. I think we’ll soon see a lot more apps coming to the google android market place. U made some great points. I really meant that U wouldn’t necessarily ’store’ your stuff on the cloud, I just meant that u would easily be able to stream and redownload your music and movies again if u loose them. I’m not talking about uploading your stuff and storing / backing up files there. one song = one file on the cloud. The songs are already there on itunes.
Grrrr, Damn ads before the video!
i have a giveaway check it out
